    Thundertaker the Hearse

The sinister Thundertaker creeps across the battlefield looking for Transformers who are alive or dead. With the help of his servant Corpse Grinder, Thundertaker turns his victims into works of taxidermy art. It's been said that some of his twisted creations have been seen shambling through Cybertrons wasteland.

I've always wanted a hearse transformer and decided to try and make one using a G1 Rodimus. I kept it simple using just three colors and stickers for details to maintain the G1 aesthetics. The trailer still opens and works but I didn't do anything with it yet so I didn't take any pics. I'm still working on ideas for Corpse Grinder and will post when he's done.

Corpse Grinder is finished. I really decided to stick with the G1 aesthetics as well as the concept of a mini companion like Optimus Prime's Roller (but transformable). I wanted Corpse Grinder to be a thug that would creep out even the baddest Decepticon. His alt mode is inspired by the Wheeled Warriors Saw Boss because I loved that toy as a kid and always wanted a Transformer like that.

Interesting concept! I like the retro aesthetic.

So about the other guy, Corpse Grinder could be a smaller bot who hides in the trailer and drags unsuspecting victims into the hearse of doom when they pass unawares. Maybe he doesn't even need to be a seperate individual, instead 'growing' out of the trailer like a parasite. Remove the cannon and those panels on the turret stand, affix Corpse Grinder's waist to the turret stand, mod the trailer rear doors to open, and voila! Creepy parasite Decepticon is ready to jump out at unfortunate wanderers!

Maybe he could have four arms to compensate for the legs he doesn't have. That would be even cooler!

Thanks! As for Corpse Grinder I see him as a smaller companion/scavanger that hides in the trailer. Kind of a like Optimus Prime's Roller but creepy and able to transform.

I too have always wanted a hearse TF, but I never would've thought of using the ol' space winnebago to do so, brilliant!

    Very neat concept.

I hope you plan to do something similar to the DX9 Terror mold.

A+ on the innovative idea. I'm an undertaker fan and TF geek so id have gone another route personally. But you did it and its a good job.

Great use of that creep-tastic G1 Rodimus head. I always thought he looked a little gruesome.

Thanks! I never realized just how creepy G1 Rodimus was until I painted him. Like a robotic Slenderman which my son thought was cool.

That is so incredibly creepy mate.

If I may, Corpse Grinder could be some multi tentacled worm thing with a gaping mouth like RotF Devastator, or that blender in... whats-his-name's chest from the DJD.

Maybe have Thundertaker's trailer open up to reveal C.G's workshop. Like how a torturer slowly unravels his tools.....

That's pretty cool! He reminds me of Wolfgang Doyle Von Frankenstein, all he's missing is a devilock! Great stuff!

Thanks! I definitely had the Misfits in mind while I was working, particularly the Legacy of Brutality and walk Among Us albums.

Thanks! I didn't really think anyone would pick up on the Misfits influence. A lot of people made some really cool suggestions for Corpse Grinder's design but I kind of want to stick with a G1/ Misfits theme for him. Sort of a death rock thug.Maybe I should nickname them Glenn and Doyle and make 2 more to complete the band:D
