Hated how The energon Omega was never symmetrical, used 2 to make 1 more on the lines of what I think he should have looked like.

Every time I come here I am blown away by the work put up on this forum. You bots never stop being awesome.
    Thank you.

    That looks fantastic.

I'm in the same boat of hating the asymmetricality of Energon Omega. If it weren't for limited cash flow and limited knowledge, I'd totally steal this idea.

Guess I'll just have to wait for the inevitable titan Omega.

Does it still transform with the swapped parts?
If so, I may have to look into this.

I for one don't have a problem with Transformers being asymmetrical it made them unique in my books, but if you wanted to make Omega symmetrical that's cool nothing wrong with that. And by the looks of it he looks cool.

    Thanks everyone.
He does still transform into space train, but I am getting high powered magnets so I can detatch his forearms to make the classic rocket ship.
He was a bit of work , but the big thing was having to buy 2 YOTD Omegas, that's not cheap. On the plus side all the other left over parts still make a second omega that's symmetrical, but different, sold that one for more than I payed for it because it looked unique and cool.

    Love the custom!

If you're going to use magnets get the rubberized version or anything which has a protective layering. Over time, naked magnets will get rusty. Ferrite magnets or any magnet designed for exterior use would do well.

I had to learned that the way after the only magnetic connection custom I made rusted over.

Actually, I would recommend to make the detachable connection from other existing toy parts and avoid magnets altogether.

Nice work man :thumb  ...here's some food for thought, how about moving the wings closer together like mine below and adding some details to the feet ;)

Awesome! If YOTS Omega looked like that I'd have wanted it for sure.
