funny thing, i went for two characters for that one. rodimus and lightspeed. i might go with lightspeed if i can manage to make a good afterburner from blades and nosecone from rook.then i'll touch up scattershot to make my dream computron.

 

so with the technobots all but confirmed, strafe is no more (also because the cannons on the wings broke, but the wings are good themselves) the same will go for groove and blastoff if they are released in the states.but they're good for now.

hey guys! so just to update, strafe is better than before his accident, lightspeed is done, and nosecone "evolved" into heatrock, but i still need to find an alt mode for afterburner....the current ideas are...

1. a blades with pieces of gen.chromia to make a modern light cycle.
2. first aid modded to look like an armored cybertronian combat bike.
3. dragstrip with translucent blue lego wheels for a light racer.
4. legends groove, then make a new character...

additional update:
my blast off is now smokejumper, due to steamshield's upcoming kit

Yo dude, what figure/s did you use to make Alpha Bravo into Groove? Want to make my own haha

 

the front wheel parts are from bh arcee,and the front portion is from an animated prowl, connected with lego pieces.
its actually a miracle about the animated prowl parts. it was basically torn/cut apart before it was given to me, i almost didn't think it would work.

well,since i posted in the combiner appreciation thread, might as well update here.
thunderwing (didn't turn out as I hoped, though)

combined mode

brute with modded copter blade, classic onslaught cannons, and blastoff/undertow (depending on takara purchase)

my betatron, with futureshock and skyfeather as arms, storm-out and heatrock as legs

and lastly, a wip for guiltaur that ended up looking like sludge/slog

so.what do you guys think?

thanks! its funny because it was completely by accident! the only downside is i don't have many limb molds left that aren't already planned for another....

That Rack'N'Ruin is genius. Although I'd recommend two large earth magnets to hold them together.
