OK, so I went ahead and painted all (or almost all) of the "cheesy" red plastic panels and touched up spots where the paint they used had flaked. It isn't perfect. It doesn't necessarily match per se, but I think it is close enough and WAY better than just the unpainted plastic that clashed with the rest of him. What do you all think? Thanks!
I think it looks great, the only part that sticks out a bit now is the yellow cassette deck cover. You could try a metallic gold color for that and it would match up nicely to the wonderful paint scheme you have going there. Almost looks like a real walkman ( mainly because of its size), looks as if you could plug in headphones in on that last pic.
I think I need a set of those reprolabels! I've been thinking about doing this for a while, the new red looks great!
Thanks! He looks really awesome on my display shelf with none of the cheesy red regular plastic mixed in with the sparkly red paint... lol
Kentucky Fried Chicken is selling 3rd party Blasters? Wow, they're really diversifying, might have to head over there. Great job!
