Yeah, the title says it all. But I didn't modify anything. This thing is held together with nothing but friction, tightness of joints, weapons, and my hand to keep it stable. XD I read on a Shapeways thread that someone wanted to see a combined form of the AOE Dinobots. It finally came to head, and I said to my fiancé, "Hey, I'm gonna make a Combiner!" She laughs then says, "Alright! Just give me your phone to take a pic of it!" And yeah... Since there was no head, I just used the panel as an idea of a head, etc, etc. The torso is made of Grimlock, Strafe, and Slog. Grimlock and Slog are held together by the giant lance weapons. The rotating join on Slog's Dino mode took the red peg end of the weapon, and after maneuvering Grimlock into a strange, yet agonizingly painful yoga position, the black pegs went into Grimlock's hands. And there were two gaps large enough to put Strafe's dino legs in, and after twisting his waist around, and the heads as well, then positioning them to a 90 degree angle, then turn the arms and wings, I had a body set. Then I just messed the hell out of Slug... He looks like someone sent a giant sharp spike into his dino head, but the rest was.made to attempt a type of armored arm. Snarl was actually fun... After splitting his, and taking his robot feet down, and positioning the dino head and front arms, it looked like a hand. Then for Slash, I don't know what I did... But I twisted and turned him about. To "slot" him onto Slog's leg, I positioned Slog's foot all the way back. And since there is a small enough space for a deluxe head to fit in, I carefully got him to hold on securely. Scorn... My god he was a pain... I justade him look like he was nelt down, and put him on. And thus, making the horriblly made gestault, Extinction!!! Yeah... Bad, I know... I'll go and sit in the corner now. XD
Yeah... This happens out of boredom, and remembering g a comment on another thread... And the funny thing is, this would technically be my "first custom" ever... Gotta start some where, right?
Not gonna lie: This has promise. Keep trying, man. Until then, the Dinobots might have to be hospitalized.
Hey, I'll keep trying. I do appreciate your opinion. I'm not being sarcastic. And I agree... They do need to be hospitalized after my mad ways.
Well done, the cheapness of these figures now, and their outlandish colours, I think makes this a realistic endeavour, a cheap dinosaur head painted silver...hmmm....
I really like how Snarl looks as an arm, and his legs and head as fingers look cool also. It DOES have potential.
