    UPDATE:10-01-15

Crotch piece added, detail stripe painted around chest & crotch, arms painted.

    ***************************

I hated CW Motormaster when it came out. No cab feet and the face looks like some bug straining to poop. So I took the cab feet off of a previous custom Motormaster I did and took a 'spare' Hegemon face and tooled it down to look pretty close to a G1 face as I could get.

I still have to refine the connection for the cab feet (using the combiner port and some other spare parts) so he can stand straight. Then it's off to the paintshop for some corrected colors.

Are you planning on making a way for the cab feet to store in combined mode, like on his back?

No. I will never combine this one. I have Boldforms Lone Wolf as my Menasor torso. This was just a project to right what I felt was wrong with the CW version so I can have the individual bots in front of the gestalt, which is how I like to display my combiners.

Looks awesome bro! :thumb  I added cab feet to my Motormaster to make him more accurate as well. Plus added a more accurate paint scheme.

Is there a way to add cab-feet, which can then be stored somewhere on the gestalt/lorry mode when not in use? That would be tip-top.

The paintwork really makes the difference on this mold from the original. Awesome job!

    COMPLETED

I thought Hasbro screwed the pooch with the factory model, BUT...with a little repainting, the addition of a flat piece of plastic for the crotch (does not impede transformation) A different face (I used the same head surround, just made a new face) and the additional of parts-formable cab feet (which may or may not be able to store in the back of the cab) we now have a Motormaster that I can enjoy having in my collection.

    Looks good!

Just a note here: if anyone sees a post that needs attention, simply use the "report bad post" function ([IMG]), and then leave it to Staff to handle. Thanks!

The outline around the chest looks great! I'll have to try that on mine.
