Finally got round to giving Rook (ok, my 2nd Rook) some proper hands, courtesy of a junker Warpath I bought.. Had to tie the hands to the arms while the Araldite dried, but they have turned out ok!

.. Ok, I did have to cut out the lil walls inside Rooks shell (where the hinge pin hold onto the black armature / 5mm peg thing); doesn't seem to have affected the rigidity any, so am pretty chuffed.

 

Makes a difference definitely . Alpha bravo head on him,some paint and you have a combaticon stand in  

 

Tempted to go with a mostly dark grey paintjob, with a nice blood red / crimson. Kinda already had a friend suggest the name Mayhem for this guy!

Well, here is the repainted Rook - now dubbed Mayhem! I've still got a few lil bits that need going over / touching up, but he's otherwise done!!

 

i always imagined this was his colors scheme before joining the autobots, so this is even cooler!!!
