This is a work in progress, about 95% done. Took a KO MP Bumblebee and tried to turn him into the Bee we should have gotten (a red one? Really?) Washed, sanded. Tamiya flat yellow brushed on. This was a surprisingly easy mold to work with. Very little disassembly and not too many rub spots. Sealed with a gloss coat of future floor polish, brush applied. I can honestly say I don't like the future coat as much as I hoped. Didn't really self-level to the extent that I'm used to, and I find the finish a little too shiny. I may try this again with a gloss finish tamiya and seal with something else. So I'll post more photos later, but for now this is here for any comments anyone might offer. Better ways to seal? Ways to buff down some imperfections in a layer of future? After the fact I thought about using some kind of putty to make the chest flush (don't care for the rotating symbol gimmick, just gonna put a sticker on there), so if anyone has any advice on that I'm all ears. Also, playing with outdoor photos. Meh, I'm no Jetbolt. Comparison to the Bay-inspired orange. In all, very satisfying project. Not sure if I'm going to sell or keep this one. Either way, it was great to pick up a brush again. Been too long.
