This is a brilliant figure! Originally designed by JohnBonhamatron (aka Bonnatron) and 3D printed via Shapeways, this is the Transformers Comics Tribute RUNG figure.

I had some minor issues during assembly -- I accidentally snapped off the shoulder ball joints while trying to attach the arms to the upper torso. I was able to fix this by attaching custom, orange, plastic washers and brass screws to the upper arms and screwing them into the upper torso. This however limits the arms' movement -- they only rotate forward and backward now.

My figure's ball joints were very loose, so I remedied that with thin pieces of rubber placed in the ball sockets. I also tightened the waist swivel with a custom, thin, plastic washer.

I painted the figure with Testor Acrylic Paints.

Overall, this is an AMAZING figure and I highly recommend it if you're a fan of Rung or the More Than Meets the Eye comic book. ~ char_leigh

    Very nice work. :)

Apologies for the thread necro, but I recently stumbled across this superb kit while skimming the boards. The design and comic accuracy are spot-on, and I can attest to the awesomeness of the finished product.

The lack of transformation is hardly an issue; the only real problems I had (and I attribute these to my own relatively low skills as a model assembler) were getting the hands into the wrist sockets deeply enough that they don't want to come out, and weak knees. The backpack makes Rung a bit topheavy, but it's simple enough to account for.

The finished figure scales well with most Generations figures (a smidgen taller than most Deluxes, but not enough to be a problem). He looks epic with my Lost Light display. :D
