Thanks for all the love and appreciations. Actually it is okay, no one is wrong, no love loss. Yes, for art we try out best to be as accurate. Agreed more could be done to make them even more accurate.

Someone on FB also asked why the combiner torso sides are non red. I also give a deep thought and left it white as because the leg in CycloScream would become more red, where accurately it should have almost no red on the calf.

Yeah, I love clean and crisp paintwork. I love dry brush, but I always like fresh out of the factory kind of toy repaint as my style. These set I made extra effort to do some splashes of detailing on the individual Seekers here and there.

I almost never paint the cockpit on combiner mode orange too. But I feel it would not do justice to the Lord, so I gave him his cockpit in combined mode.

maybe if you painted a crown on standard starscream, but i like it as it is. makes me wish i had a spare cyclonus.

 

Nicely done! I'll echo the criticism that the Bot mode head for Starscream should have been replaced, but otherwise... nicely done.

Also... if anyone were to be forcing Combinations, I'd say it would have been Starscream... I mean think of all the Seeker limb repaints they could have made... Honestly, THIS should have been the Silverbolt repaint first.

On that note, if you make more limbs, I can see Hotlink, Slipstream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker being his other team of servile combiner limbs. Would be more cohesive too, colorwise.

 

If you don't mind, what kind of white paint is that? I'm staring at the detail and the fact that it's over purple is just blowing my mind.

 

How I have not seen this sooner? I've been waiting for a Seeker from Combiner Wars molds! I didn't realize Air Raid's head worked so well for them ...

 

The trick is laying layers and layers of white. Yes, having to turn bright colors like purple, red and etc into white is nightmare.

When I made Slingshot from Firefly before Has/Tak revealed their, I had learn the painful lesson, it took me 4 tries to get it right for CW Slingshot custom.

I would have used a different head on the voyager robot, and shaped the iconic "windshield" on his chest. But I love the dual arm cannons...

I have no doubt this set (in one form or another) will get produced. As an exclusive by Hasbro or TT. Frankly, I'd bet money on it. LOL

Superb job the Air Raid mold works beautifully as the Seekers and I love seeing it in Thundercracker and Acid Storm's colours.

These are so well done, and are damn near exactly what I envision when I think of a CW Starscream.

My only suggestion, and I admit this might not look as good when not in torso mode: Use red on the underside of Screamer's wings so it looks like his cape in combined mode.

 

I'm a fan of seekers.

Thus I am a fan of this.
