So I'm thinking of using a Leader Class Armada Megatron that I got for song at a convention to make a Leader class Quake. In case you're not familiar with him HERE'S his page on tfwiki.
I'm wondering how doable this will be, but I want to try. I made this quick Digibash as an outline of what I want to do. Does anyone have any feedback when it comes to painting this mold? Thanks!

Yes, with this mold, sounds odd, but trust me: 3 liter jug, fill it with gasoline, dip the armada megs, get a match, light it, run away in a panic. Lol . Sorry. Had to. I like that color scheme. With a custom I did, I removed his antlers to shave em down to fine points. With quake you could do similar but use some milliputty and sculpt the ears EZ.

^^^Ah, good idea with the horns there. I think I'll shave them down if I end up going through with this. Thanks!

Wow. That works better than it has any right to. Great idea!

Three notes on the color choices:

    1. If you make the feet red as well, there won't be odd black patches on the sides of the tank.
    2. If you color the part of the sliding thingamajig that will be hidden in tank mode black instead of gray, he will still have black toes like the G1 version.
    3. The original face on the toy was more of a light orange than yellow.

With the head remolded, I would definitely pay full retail for this. (As a custom, I would definitely pay more than full retail. Then again, Quake is one of my favorite characters for some reason, so I may be biased....)

Thanks for your feedback! Upon having the actual figure in hand, I realize that if the feet are black, it would break up the colors on the tank. I'll be making a note of that. Coloring the slider thing black is an excellent idea! I'll also remember what you said about the face. Thank you very much! I can't wait to get started!
