Fakebusker's Shapeways Store Minibot "Eyebrows" (Shapeways) Update August 1st, 2015 Eyebrows works at the hairdresser's! He enjoys trimming people's eyebrows! He sometimes gives manicures too, but he hates the smell of nail polish. He's such a relaxing personality, customers tend to fall asleep on his chair... Eyebrows stands 7.5cm tall and he is extremely poseable with balljointed shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and feet. His head is on a peg swivel. He can also hold/mount 3mm peg compatible accessories. He comes with a compatible scooter that folds and mounts on his back and also a tiny spaceship model. *** More pictures to come soon once I get my camera working. Meanwhile enjoy these instagrams. *** Assembly Him being such a small figure, his assembly is meant to be straightforward. However there are a few items you need to take note of to be able to put him together correctly. Also, he has been engineered to have as robust joints as possible but you might still need to coat the ball joints and sockets with superglue or nail polish to increase tightness. He comes in a jiggling mess of sprues and body parts. Use an x-acto blade and a pair of snips to carefully remove all the sprue connectors. Look twice, cut once. Be careful not to cut away anything that resembles a body part. In most cases I will not be replacing damaged pieces. Put together the pieces for his torso. Some pieces need to be flexed to accommodate the inner hinge portions. Note that the bottom hinge is nested with 3 separate pieces. Work from inside out. It's easier. Assemble the arms. Note the differences between the left and right forearms. The upper arms are exactly the same. Similarly, put the legs together taking note of what's left and right. The feet are exactly the same. It might take careful pressure to assemble his knees as the socket is pretty tight. Assemble his head. Ensure the orientation of the neck peg is correct, with the arrow at the base of the peg pointing front/up. If you want to paint his face, do it before assembly. It will be easier. The glasses/goggle piece is very small. Be careful not to lose it. It snaps in place at the bridge of his nose. You're almost done! Put together all the main body parts. Assemble the scooter too.
