Well its not very often I do something like this. In fact this is by far the only time I've done this and that's repainting a figure I've had since childhood. I'm actually amazed its held up this long considering that the Beast Machines line was notorious for using a lot of clear plastic and some of the figures, like that one hammerhead shark whom I forgot the name to can't really stand up to much play. However this line does have some gems among a sea of really terrible Maximal toys and Blackarachnia is no exception. Yes I'm aware the color scheme I went with isn't show accurate but I really don't care. The overall light red color scheme and those stupid triangles in my mind didn't fit the character since I'm more used to the black, gold and purple colors she normally sports. Yet I decided to paint the mandibles as close to the show model. Either I'm a major hypocrite or I'm just that picky with my figures. Keep in mind this is the same customizer who thought it would be a good idea to give Chromia yellow eyes and seven Shattered Glass Thundercracker repaints because I just had to remind everyone of how stupid the early 90s were. This is the same decade that gave us Tequila and Bonetti for Primus sake.

Thanks mate. I might actually attempt to tackle the Universe 1.0 repaint of this figure.
