    MTMTE Misfire

This is a custom Misfire based on the Generations Armada SS figure. The head is custom Shapeways printed. The only other things I did are:

    1) two spare TFPrime dreadwing shoulder armors to give his back kibble a G1-like look
    2) removed original waist and replaced by that of a spare Classic 1.0 tank Megatron, which gives him some extra height and waist articulation

Since clearcoat is not cured (yes I should not even have assembled him) no alt mode pics yet. Might as well because alt mode looks like starscream with legs on top.

Paint is Testor maroon - and Yes I missed a few spots :(

Tried to make alt mode look like the G-1 counterpart - and thanks to he waist extension at least the rear half is pretty close :)

Maaaaaaybe the back kibble could be shorter to remove the Starscream look, but that's just nitpicking. Awesome job, man!

Soooooo awesome. Just be careful transforming him, he just may take-off because he thinks he saw the Necrobot.

Fantastic. Would you mind flipping up the chest/cockpit so I can see how you worked the new waist in? I was about to say you miscolored the chin strap based on the reference pic you posted, but looking back in the issue, it was actually Josh who miscolored it in that particular panel. :lol  Anyways, great head model, as usual. I'm really digging the whole presentation.

And is that a sneak peek at Crankcase I see? :)

Love what you're doing with shape ways. It's too bad we aren't getting these guys mass released by Hasbro.

Sure, you can see from these pics:

Basically cut the original crotch off and graft Megatron's on. The yellow plastic is non-paintable and non-drillable so it felt like glue and epoxy was the only option.

Misfire looks so friggin good. It's a nice use of the Armada Starscream design.
