I decided to take a stab at Blast Off. I was going to use Air Raid, as I had found a cool way to make it look like a shuttle. After having a few setbacks, I decided to go with Alpha Bravo as the base figure since it pretty much screams space shuttle. I did use parts from Air Raid, like the arms, guns (I had a couple), and the wings/mounts. I also used a FoC Blast Off I had spare, since I always liked the figure. What I came up with is more of a sub-orbital fighter rather than a straight shuttle. Why?? Because a shuttle-like craft with BFG's is COOL, dammit. He still transforms into a limb. What's cool is that the side guns/wings an be removed and added to any 5mm port, INCLUDING the back of Hot Spot, so it'd look good on Onslaught. It'll be for sale with my other CW customs in my sales thread eventually. I did these for myself, but decided I really don't need them.
*insert typical fan complain as to why the hasbro version doesn't look like this* dude in all reality, always a fan of your work, add this one to my list of favorites P.S i like blast off better as a fighter jet than a rocket ship, a combat rocket ship makes no sense
Oh wow, that's amaze! Foc's thruster's radial wings are gratuitous. ..but still looks awesome on your custom! Er yes it does, he's a space shuttle, Matrix!
My jaw just hit the floor so hard that it crashed through to the basement. Pardon me while I retrieve it.
how does a combat rocket ship make no sense in a universe where gods transform into planets, bodies can merge into giants, and prime toys can be of any size class? (the professor) "anything is possible in the name of science" i wish i could do this myself, man.its sooooooo awesome!!
Thanks! One meeeelion dollars... heheh Thanks! Doo eeet! Answered here: it's the one part of the FoC figure I HAD to use. I've loved that design since it was released. Watch out for the squirrels. Uh oh... GAH! The squirrels! They shall not have me nuts! Thanks! Go for it!
