I thought the CW Warpath mold was pretty good but lacked his signature chest gun. I cut the barrel off of the standard gun and drilled an eighth in hole into the gun and his chest. It allowed me to attach the gun to the muzzle in tank mode and to his chest in robot mode. Now he looks much more like Warpath.
only critique is you should alcohol off the autobot symbol on his chest and sticker one somewhere else, it looks weird having the remains of the symbol hiding behind the barrel in robot mode and it doesn't show at all in tank mode
Awesome! I need to do this. He is fine little Warpath. Just needs to have the cannon in the right place. Anyone else did this? Do you have more tips or different ideas how to do it?
Here is my attempt. It is risky mod for my taste with no going back. But Im glad I did it. He looks much better now I cut the cannon in two parts. I made the peg at the back of the front part of cannon thinner and a bit shorter. I drilled hole through the front of the back part of the cannon so the front part can be plugged in for tankmode and so this looks nice like a gun in his hand. I drilled hole in his chest. I added some nail polish for better grip. I used isopropylalcohol to rub off the Autobot badge. Unfortunatelly it is not red plastic, but its just grey plastic dyed in red.
