According to a few friends I should be posting all my customs here. Let's start that!

A few of you might recognise me/my work from elsewhere... I used to be quite active on Sector 70 and TFmaster's old board... And I've been posting my works in the "fan art" thread without posting them here. Smooth :p

Nautica's a complete Shapeways upgrade set for the BH Starscream mould. She's got light piped eyes, a movable light-piped visor, a wrench, and full dancing action!

    No, really.

So, my femmebot collection is now so large it needed a bigger shelf. Which is a wonderful thing to be able to say.

I still haven't painted her wrench. I keep wanting to work in some kind of light pipe gimmick with the paint scheme...I figure there's a point on the wrench somewhere I can leave unpainted where light will pipe down to the end.

I wanted her alt mode to be 100% comic accurate, but it was just hellish to make the legs fold the way I wanted, as well as getting the chest hinges the way they'd need to work. This is okay for now.

Nautica's all sprued up and ready to go.

    Head & Wrench
    Body

So if anybody wants to make a Nautica of their own like this, that's what you need. :)

If you click each link, shapeways should display the costs in the currency of your choice :)

    Pics I forgot!

Yush! Amazing! Why hasn't Hasbro done this already or reuse BH Starscream for a girl?

Looks very nice. Looking at $85 with the base fig plus the cost of paint (at minimum) for other members to buy your shapeways, but nice to see another sweet naughty nautica

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Yeah, sadly she's not cheap due to the sheer amount of parts/plastic. I sprued her up to make her as cheap as I could, production-wise (she originally clocked in at over $100!). I keep wondering if I should see how she turns out on somewhere like Sculpteo instead.

I caught this set on your Twitter and immediately jumped to shapeways to wishlist it. I'll probably order her as soon as I find another reasonably priced BH Starscream. She's definitely a "must-get" for me.

    Thanks! :D

For what it's worth, you might want to jump on ordering her now as Shapeways are offering free worldwide shipping until July 12th. Frankly, the amount saved on SW shipping is probably enough to buy a BH Starscream if it's as much in the US as it is overseas...

Cheers :)  It's my Classics "Tap-Out", based on a custom I saw someone else do a few years back.

SW's standard shipping in the US is just $4.99, and it looks like I'll be paying it since I won't see another payday until the 16th. :redface2:

On the bright side, though, I was able to get a BH Starscream for under $4. Thanks to some "eBay Bucks" I hadn't used, yet. So, I'll be ordering my Naughty Nautica by the end of next week. :D

Haha, so I was almost right about how far the saving would have gone? :)  Glad to hear you've got a BH Scream now though!

For reference, it's over $12 a shot for non-USPS ground shipping from Shapeways (they use UPS to the UK for example) no matter how small the order is, so I'm working hard on getting Thunderclash sprued up and ready for sale while the offer's still on...

A while ago, someone was asking me about this. Just got MMC Euphatorium (should be Euphatoria, surely?) and Nautica's head fits, albeit VERY snugly.

Also, this is what you should have left over from a BH Screamer after applying the Nautica bits.

I had decided this just wasn't going to happen for me since I never picked up Starscream when he was shelfwarming and Beast Hunters had disappeared from everywhere I could check. But go into Toys R Us today and lo and behold, a BH Starscream in a very battered box, got discount on it too since the box was knacked. Looking forward to building this and Thunderclash once I have the money to do so.

That's some awesome news! :D  I'd honestly hoped to get her out while BH Screamer was easier to find, but prototyping costs...

Now I'll be getting my own 3D printer soon, expect to see me work a lot faster.
