I thought that as well when I was laying out the colors, but it would have been difficult to get the yellow 'box' of the tape deck homage in there with the sculpted detail as it is. Instead, I decided to go with using the sculpted beams for the representation.
combine rumble with soundwave for leg mode, make frenzy chest armor... please tell me you're making a full blown combiner out of this
Quote: Crappy? Hardly. Rook is an amazing figure, and easily one of my favorites of the line. After taking some of these CW figures apart, I can testify that they're solid, well made and loaded with detail. The plastic feels lighter than what we've been used to, but I honestly think the composition is slightly different now, which allows for solid pieces at a lighter weight. Geez, didn't mean to offend. I simply meant that they are throwing new guys at us instead of using the original ones. That's what makes it crappy. Rook is a great mold, I plan to use it for several customs. But I have to buy the whole danged Japanese set to get to the Groove that Defensor really needs. Had to get "Slingshot" on line. And Don't get mes started on Offroad. Love the mold, and have already made customs from him, but a pickup stunticon? come on.
Nice. Any chance of a loudspeaker/sonic cannon and/or a satellite dish to "complete" him? Please do a Ravage, Lazerbeak and Buzzsaw!
