The original Armada Megatron was always in my top five to get the classics treatment but the CW version is missing all my favorite parts. I already had an Armada Galvatron that I put the cannon on the arm of years ago and last year was trying to make the tank treads swing onto the back (it went nowhere) so when I saw how the CW version worked inspiration struck. Pretty much all the parts are from the original mold or from this one cut off and stuck somewhere else. I had painted the original toy and made a mess cleaning it so some parts are replaced because they had to be. The leg pieces have to be swapped and the head has to be removed to accommodate the larger chest for transformation but it's worth it for me for the appearance. I added nine new minicon pegs and I put the treads in the inside of the forearms because I thought it looked bad ass. Moving the canon to his side would have been an easy mod but I prefer it on his arm. Thanks for looking. it, thanks for looking.
Totally a tank nut myself and what you did here makes me moist in all the right places. I was wondering how to pull something like this off and you did it perfectly. Nicely done.
Thanks a lot everybody! I thought about making it combine with Tidal wave but I didn't go for it, partly because the extra treads were making it really back heavy for a while. Originally I was going to use the hinges on the side panels to make extra guns come out but didn't for the same reason.
That tank mode in particular looks gorgeous. I love this figure as-is, but you've made it into a mini masterpiece!
