finished in time to deliver at tfcon this year, another commission from a fellow member and good buddy. classics g2 clench. he had three stipulations... -must use rts voyager grapple mold -must be a decepticon -must not be something done yet this is the end result. he now also feels like he's made of diecast from the sheer weight of him.every cavity/hollow including his toes are now filled with steel screws and hot glue. some of the recipe= rts grapple energon bruticus maximus head kibbles and bits from x2 lighters, rotf legends megatron trailer wfc deluxe soundwave tftm07 deluxe dreadwing g1 constructicon bonecrusher styrene...lots of small hand cut/eye balled chunks. rotf scout depthcharge x2 dollarstore army men gattling cannons the attached pic is the color scheme I was tring to follow.(pic is from the internet) keep in mind the original, though it looks black in the pic,out in sunlight has blue metallic flake imbedded into the plastic. ABV mode (armored battle vehicle) regular bot mode. like the original, his rear chunk is removable and becomes a turret/cannon emplacement or shoulder cannons. holy sh@tballs mode with the classics pyro v.2 I did. funny irony, the botcon versions of these two characters use the same molds, but vice versa.
Love me that Clench! Some G2 love! Awesome Job! What kind of blue is that? Iv been looking for a color like that for some projects i have lying around.
Man, that thing is like the battle-wagon from hell! I absolutely love the front end armor. It looks... natural. Plus, it looks super-powerful. My ONLY criticism is the missing wheel on the Megatron trailer. That could have been covered up with sturene, or the dual wheels left stock. As it is, it looks kind of broken. Still, the overall build is fantastic!
I'm happy with my official BotCon Clench, but this custom is amazing and is worlds beyond that toy! Fantastic work!
wow...just...wow. This guy looks fantastic! I am really loving the amount of detail you put into this dude.
That is one mean Colossus/Clench bro...truly excellent! I am continuously awed inspired by your work bro. Thanks!
