Next up is Foc Swoop. He is made out of a 30th anniversary Armada Starscream with a styrene crest and lower beak, TFPBH Voyager Predaking's claw hands, and Energon Swoop's wings. Started this back in 2013 and now got back to him. Like Snarl there is still lots to do. I am thinking of redoing the lower beak with something else like repair putty or something. Let me know what you guys think and if you have any suggestions. To the photos.

Just a helpful tip, if you want the robot feet to fold in more to give his Dino modes backpack a more streamlined look you can unscrew the lower legs and theres a knob on the top of the foot where it plugs in, if you shave that off it will fold in flat, you may have to shave just a little off the widest part of the sides of the foot as well just for clearance but it doesnt effect the look or transformation at all other then allowing it to fold farther in. Definitely looks great so far

Glad you like it. Yep when I saw this Starscream it just screamed "Swoop" to me. Also this was cheaper than the Planet X version. Also I should have a small update on Snarl tomorrow after the glue dries.

 

Np, its a nice simple mod that I've used several times myself and makes a world of difference in my opinion, cant wait to see the dinobots when they're all finished up... may have to "steal" a few ideas for future customs myself :-D

 

Ok just did this and Swoop looks a lot better now. Thanks for telling me this. Will post a photo sometime tomorrow.

Update! I finally got the lower part of the beak. Now Swoop just needs to be painted like the others.

 

You might want to make a crest on the pterosaur head so he looks a bit more like FoC Swoop.

 

Problem there is the piece that is needed might be to long, so it sticks out to much and goes in front of his face :\

Otherwise however this looks pretty good!

 

Problem is that FoC Swoop also has a neck; which would negate that issue, but might pose a problem for transformation if not done well.
