Herbie Lots have folks have done this custom, so it is not a first. I picked up a cheap but high quality KO white Bumblebee on Ebay. I don't like waterslide decals so I grabbed a Google image of a Herbie decal sheet and then scaled it for the figure. I took the image to a local printer and had it printed on white vinyl. I handcut the stickers. I liked how they had a G1 sticker feel. The headlights and taillights are from a Reprolabel upgrade set. Eyes from some left over sticker sheets. This figure feels very nostalgic for me because when I was a kid I thought Herbie was a Transformer that got lost, or ran away, or didn't want to fight. I left the rub symbol instead of an Autobot logo so that it was hidden as a sunroof and so that it better matched Herbie who did not have one. Autoscout tekering designed the graphic as posted on this thread: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...tf-pics-thread-2013-rules-first-post-105.html I wanted the sticker metallic like the G1 cassettes so I printed it on clear sticker paper and adhered it to brushed metal vinyl. To prevent wear I put clear tape over the top of the sticker. I cut it out and stuck it on Autoscout. Decepticon sticker is a Reprolabel. Thanks to you fellow Radicon tekering!!!!! and thanks for looking - nonmetal
Haha thanks doomtron. A battle damaged one would be good. Maybe he could roll with the surliest of the Junkions. I revised the back to include a number logo like the real Herbie. Forgot he had one on the back.
