    Custom Transformers Lugnut
This is my take on the animated character known as Lugnut. The base for this is a toy Airbus on witch I have moved the wings upwards to better resemble a military transport plane (C130) and various Lego and knock of transformer joints.
His alt mode will obviously be a modern c130 type plane and his bot mode will loosely be based of the Decepticon bosses from the FOC game (the ones with the jet pack that would speed and ram in to you) and various concept art I found on the internet.
So far I have his legs and waist done as well as the front fuselage transformation done
Hope you like it so far

Awesome!! At least I am not the only one thinking about poor Lugnut. This is my choice of planes. No pics for me. All I have accomplished was cutting him to pieces.lol

Is there any way in which you'll incorporate his P.O.K.E? I look forward to seeing this custom once it's finished.

    thx

    thx

go for it! if you are planing to use the wings as the arms like i amthe straigh wing on your model should make for much beter arms coution your desing on the waight of the figure if you can spare them go for ratcheted hips, the ball joints i used don't hold his waight that well

    thx
    thx

he will have thrusters on his robot back as to replicate the speeding attack the descepticon bruts had in the foc game so i may be able to get him in some dramatick punching poses

    thx

    Arm Transformation

    Roughly did his arms today.
Each wing will have two engines the inner engines are attached with magnets and move to the top of the wings the outer ones form the for arms and open up so the hands can fold out.
A lot of transformation joints are magnetic to reduce weight

Transformers are so much cooler when done within the confines of Earth vehicle modes. This is awesome.

    Head And Chest
I built the robot mode chest out of pvc and added fodder parts to make it look better. The collar part is made of three peaces connected with as many hinges. The head I sculpted my self and has two different interchangeable visors (one normal one damaged)
The last picture is of before I made his chest and will be what his weaponiser mode will end up looking like.
