    Built him a gun
I thought it appropriate to give Lugnut the biggest weapon I could think of. So I decided to go with an under slung minigun. It is made out of fodder pieces ( medicine bottles, straws and loose Lego parts.) the handles are longish Lego pieces that connect to equivalent pieces in his palms. He does have fingers I just haven't attached them yet, because the are a bit on the brittle side.
In the pictures he is leaning against a backing bottle, so is the gun, because of his weight his joints are super loose. I will weight till I have painted him to tighten them. last time I tightened hero factory joints before painting they went from acceptably lose, to way to stiff and broke of.
Just to get an idea of his size his crotch piece/lower torso is a full length hero factory torso with the shoulders taken of.

    Started Painting
I decided to invert his animated color scheme giving him a grey alt mode and blue robot parts as opposed to a purple plane with teal robot parts. The head and minigun are missing because I haven't painted them yet. There's also a picture of his plane mode and poweriser mode
I am planning on dry brushing the blue parts with some metallic paint and maybe panel lining the plain mode and some weathering and of course some decals

    Painted the head
Here are some pictures of his head painted up.
The first picture is of his unvisored head, the next two are with the full visor and the fourth is with the cracked visor.
The last picture is of his disassembled body, I have dry brushed the blue robot parts with silver paint to give them a weathered look
