If Hasbro had made these repaints, and were on the TRU shelves right now, would I buy them?

Rodimus, yes, for sure.
Demolishor, no.

The custom is great, but I don't see Demolishor. Maybe with a different name, I'd see it.

But yeah, that Rodimus...file that under, "Why didn't Hasbro do it?"

 

Demolisher is based on a custom from Cheetimus Prime, however I did him in his colours from the begining of Energon:
He is a lot less obvious than Rodimus, I do agree

these both look great - I love the look of Demolishor and Blackout together, they look like they were made for each other.

Your Rodimus is tops, too - I always thought the Energon figure was a lot of fun and this is a great tribute!

 

You enspired me to do this Rodimus. The only changes I'm making really, are the head, I don't have an extra but I do have the head from
Titanium Rodimus and will use it. Also, I'll be removing the heat shield thingies on his arms and adding the pipes from a clocker to get the Hot Rod/Rodimus look.
You did a great thing here, and thanks for the idea.

You are very welcome   Is the titanium head the right size? I've never owned one but always thought he was a little bigger than this?
As for the pipes, I did consider him not having the iconic exhaust lasers, but I had already fallen for the idea that the heat shields gave his alt mode that nice kinda, 'speed' look (don't know how to describe that...) but it added that flare the Energon Rod alt mode lacked.

Adding the pipes should look amazing, hope I get to see it  

 

The head turned oud a tad too tall so im modding the existing head.
I love the arms on your guy, i just feel if i copy someones idea i should meke it different. Your plan is yours. Dont want to steal it. Know what i mean? But man that thing is sweet, perfect blend of like 5 different Rodimuses, Rodimus', Rodimae, Rodimi, whatever it is its amazing!

 

I know exactly what you mean   Shame about the head, the titanium figure's head has a look closer to the G1 toy right? That would've looked nice! Looking forward to seeing the exhaust rods in action
