I still need to tweak a few bits, and do another prototype run on it, so it's going to be at least another couple of weeks, yet.

 

Very cool! If I could offer up a tiny criticism, maybe the head could be a little smaller?

 

It is a wee tiny bit big, aye, but that comes from it being a helmet that slots over the stock head (since that's a lot easier for people to install than a full replacement head), and with the minimum wall thickness on shapeways, it has to be a certain size.

I could quite possibly look at doing a smaller replacement head later on, of course.  

 

I think Thunderclash can do with a waist piece on him to make his legs more proportioned but other then that he's looking amazing!

 

Any chance of some big ass thrusters for alt mode that can mount on his back in bot mode? That would completely finish him off.

Now the wait for that white repaint truly begins in earnest...

Paint that waist blue!

 

Oh I plan to, don't you worry. I need to find the right paint mix first, 'cos it turns out he's another one like Nightbeat: the "blue" on him is actually teal, and in person, it looks nothing like every single photo of him ever.  

 

Then paint the thighs red and leave it white. I prefer the Takara version but too expensive.

 

Please make forearm plates that cover that bit of white that's exposed. Drives me crazy!!!

 

Heh, one way or another, I shall break up the white 90s jeans he's got going on.
