I decided to start a new thread because this time it is all Stunticons :)  and of course more on the "masquerade" business later (hint: Marvel B gave me this idea).

So far I am still working on the vanilla Stunticon heads, as the toy shipments are just starting to come in.

Update 9/13/2015: Added pictures of G1 "toy" Dead End - and of course "toy" Breakdown is coming soon!
Update 7/23/2015: Added pictures of Sunstreaker chest plate. Link to the post:http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/1040478-combiner-wars-head-project-ii-masquerade-8.html#post12780122
Update 7/11/2015: New batch of test print are successful and I am releasing Jazz's faux chest and nightbeat/minerva kits: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/1040478-combiner-wars-head-project-ii-masquerade-7.html#post12740508
Update 6/19/2015: Windcharger head received! follow the link to see: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/1040478-combiner-wars-head-project-ii-masquerade-5.html#post12668820
Update 5/15/2015: Heads painted! follow the link to see: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/1040478-combiner-wars-head-project-ii-masquerade-3.html#post12546449
Update 5/13/2015: Just received Dragstrip, Wildrider and Crankcase, looking good

    Dead End

G1 toy-inspired head for Dead End

    dead end head g1 toy.png

    Breakdown

G1 toy and Dreamwave character card-inspired head for Breakdown.

    With goggles:
    breakdown head g1 toon goggle.png

    With eyes:
    breakdown head g1 toon eyes.png

    Wildrider

I know you can get the United warrior one, but I think someone out there may just want one for his Hasbro toys. I designed a single "helmet" and try to put different faces.

This is the one with two spikes on either side of the head, not an accurate representation of the cartoon head but close.

    wildrider head g1 toon.png

The spikes are REMOVABLE, so by taking them off you end up with this one which is like the G1 "box art".

    wildrider head g1 card.png

And of course, if you remember the ugly face of the G1 toy, here it is. I inserted a bubble in the visor to create a Cyclops-like effect, but I don't know how the print out will look like.

    wildrider head g1 toy.png

I will first release them for the Breakdown body as that's the only one I have.

    Dragstrip
Not much to say. This is the "cartoon" version, made in exact (hopefully) dimensions as the current one on the toy.

    dragstrip head g1 toon.png

And this is the G1 "toy" version - actually the same head you see on the new toy's character card.

    Crankcase

This is an IDW Crankcase head replacement for Offroad. I created a "shot" version of this as well.
    crankcase head idw.png

    Sideswipe

The first of four Autobot head replacement for CW Stunticons - for anyone who wants to reenact the "Masquerade" episode! The first one is Sideswipe - modeled after IDW "spotlight" comic appearance. This one repalces head on CW Breakdown.

    sideswipe head spotlight.png

    and a G-1ish chest:

    Mirage

Just finished this one...based on "spotlight" appearance again. I like the masked infiltrator look of this version. Due to limited space available under drag-strip's hood I can't make the head as wide as it should be. Still, not a bad start.

    Windcharger

based on "MTMTE" appearance, this Windcharger head can go on either Dead End or Breakdown body, and with an adapter, on Generation Bumblebee/Nightbeat too.

    windcharger chest plate.png

    Jazz!

finally! Jazz is done. Based on his appearance in "All Hail Megatron" comics, this head goes on Dead End.

    jaaz head ahm.png

And a fake bonnet on the chest
    jazz chest plate.png

    Bonus!

Here's inspired by my hero's work - I agree, only after seeing this, that the deadend mold is perfect for nightbeat. So here's a tribute to the character!

    nightbeat haed.png

    nightbeat chest plate.png

And there is a piece for Minerva, too.

    minerva breast plate.png

    Sunstreaker

Fake chest based on his current vehicle mode. Should I make a more G-1 accurate chest?

I usually pass on shapeways heads, but these have a lot of personality to them. Wildrider especially.

could we expect a "toy-accurate" dead end and breakdown in the future?

I thought that Drag Strip's normal head looked good enough, but that head looks a lot nicer. Looking forward to when you make them available to order.

They look great in the pictures, Only problem is, when they're printed, they will look very grainy.

That's true especially with non-FUD. I think one of those days I will give FED a try to see how that fairs.

Hi, does the Wildrider head work with Off Road? The ball joints on Off Road and Brake-Neck are different sizes so the heads can't be swapped.

Was wondering if the Wildrider head is sized for the Dead End mold, or the Off Road mold? :)

I compared Wildrider and Streetwise they have the same 4mm ball. Offroad has 5mm.

Received test prints of the first batch! Wildrider head is just perfect, and so many combinations you can choose from.

Dragstrip's ears are a tad too big so I need to shave them off. The model is adjusted.

Crankcase's head sits a bit too low as well, which is also fixed. All three models are now released on Shapeways!
