the color pic you saw were rendered by the software :p  you'll need to paint it as shapeways will give you the semi-transparent acrylic.

    whoo hoo! they look awesome.

funny thing is, i was going to ask if you got the testprints earlier.

and a question. i remember someone on a possibly-different person's thread that sharpies (except black and metallics) can be used on the wsf prints , i was wondering if its true for the fud prints as well

FUD is Acrylic, I think. I usually wash them before painting and both oil-based (Mr. Hobby) and water based (Tamiya acrylic) stick pretty well, and yes I have used my Gundam marker on them.

Steamshield told me that if he has the measurements he can make a version of Crankcase's head that will fit this figure.

Could anyone who owns this mold help out?

Are you able to make a 5mm ball joint socket for your Wildrider head available.
I would like to get one for my Offroad.

I really like yours more than the Hasbro one and I would prefer it because i like the idea of my Stunticons having all different vehicle modes.

Curiously enough, I have that Crankcase who no longer has his head and an Offroad so I can do active comparisons :) , should have said head somewhere though, I'll try and find it all tomorrow at my mum's house. Not really interested in keeping him either so if you're still looking you could have him.

I do remember that Crankcase's head is on a mushroom swivel as opposed to a ball joint though so that will need altering.

    Ooh thank you :)

Yeah I thought it wasn't on a ball joint bc the toy has a limited range of head movement.

no problem. you've helped plenty of my ideas come true, and i'm thankful to you for that! i just needed to courage (and money) to order them. the one gripe i have is the missing jazz head, but i'll use dead end's and call it a "battle mask version". hopefully next paycheck i can order the wings, limbs and other accessories too!

I am looking for heads to replace the upcoming Ironhide into Tote. I think the Crankcase head would be a great fit, if not for his frown...
