Kind of a fun afternoon project. There are a few more paint apps I may add, but he's done for now. Personally, I like this mold in black a lot more than gray.
You may want to recheck your second to last picture But yeah, this looks fantastic. The mold looks so much better in black and silver. Fantastic work!

Great job! It's a shame hasbro decides to cheap out on a few paint apps (uh...side windows?).... in order to save a few fractions of a penny.
I'll ask the dumb question. Is he airbrushed? If so. Did you take him apart? What steps did you do to get him like this. It looks fantastic. Would love mine to look like that. Windows came out great. What are actual colors you used?? Maybe color list would help. Thanks. Keep up the good work.
i see great minds think alike I've painted mine but I was hoping to make mine look a little more like AOE Galvatron but I have to clean up my paints before I would dare show it
Don't know why people want him all black.... His arms were grey as well as part of his legs xD Sill looks good though
Looks nice. You could've gone full cartoon accurate and made the front of the arms light grey. Would help separate it a bit IMO.
Nice! Wish hasbro would've done a black version instead of the gray... Also, I thought of your CW Galvatron custom when I got my motormaster. It would've been cool to have the black truck mode, but inside as bot mode he'd have been gray kinda like G1.
Thanks for the comments everyone! -Yes, it was airbrushed. -I took him apart, but didn't pop pins. I used a lot of masking tape. A lot. -Primed black, sprayed silver where he'd be silver and purple. Airbrushed the purple over the silver. Sealed with Future. -Wikked Purple, Testors Chrome, Krylon Short Cuts Chrome and Krylon Fusion. The gray was fine, but I wanted something to break up the colors when in combined mode. Off Road almost blended in, so I decided to go black with Motormaster. To my eyes, and on my shelf, he looks a lot better in black. I may go back and do some more chroming, but for now I'm happy. I considered it, but I like the silver spot apps. Okay, that's an idea I may explore.
