Well, this turned out a bit more challenging than I anticipated. Megatron was NOT meant to be disassembled. The mods here are: -Resculpted mouth and cheek -Added head crests -Added wing pieces to shoulders -Resculpted chest -Modified cannon barrel -Complete repaint I wanted to make the tank mode different from the bot mode, so it's all done in grays and the bot is G1 purple. Very little of the purple is visible in alt mode, so I considered it a success. I rarely ever do customs just to sell, but he'll be hitting eBay this week. I really just don't need it, and wanted to make it just for the fun of it.
For some reason I'm not keen on the G1 Megatron face. Looks kinda fat, or wide, or too far front inside the helmet. Or all those things. But the re sculpt you did works really really well. Except the 1 eye, you can barely tell that's the same head
That's fucking perfect. Forget Megatron, they need to make Galvatron! The sneer is excellent and looks just like the animation model and the legs actually work better for Galvatron than Megatron.
Looks sweet. Would love to see this come out from Hasbro one day along with an Armada Galvatron repainted from Armada Megatron to go along with it.
This is DELICIOUS! Another home run, my friend! The remolding, the paintwork are top notch, as always... Especially love the head-crest, the face, new chest and cannon!
that is amazing, when I had gotten the armada megatron I asked, "why didnt they do galvatron instead?" so now I really wanna know...why didnt they do galvatron instead?
