Whilst I wait for the Perfect Effect kit, I decided I just had to do something with the hands and feet for CW Superion.

The hands are a simple mod of the stock hands/feet... I simply cut off the gun knuckles and painted the outer shell white.

The feet were a little more complex... I spent ages trying to find something of a suitable size/ shape and stumbled across the forearms of a broken G1 Ultra Magnus in my junk box. The toe and heel pieces were from a lego bionical figure and the side pieces (to add a little more bulk) are the weapons from a TFTM Wreckage figure.

Once assembled they were painted white.

The current ball joints will eventually be replaced with ratchet joints to make the whole thing a little sturdier. But overall I am happy with the end result and think they will be suitable stand in until the PE kit arrives.

I'm really liking what you did there. Even better are the ankle tilts. Nice!

I've actually considered hacking up Movie 1 Leader Optimus for hands and feet; but I haven't progressed beyond thinking about it.

It really amazes me what new feet and hands can do for these guys.

Thanks. I thought about using the feet from an ROTF Leader Prime, but they didn't look right to me.

It certainly does make a difference.

Thanks - I went with the limb configuration I remember from my childhood haha.

Already had the PE kit pre-ordered before I did this... undecided if I will keep the order or not as I do like how these came out.

    Thanks.

Thanks - I have to re-do the left foot as the ball joint broke... but I am liking these more and more so probably going to cancel my pre-order for the PE kit.
