I modded my Takara Transformers Cloud Volume 03 Hot Rodimus with rear spoiler wings and silver exhaust pipes on his forearms and shins. Wing parts are from FansProject Protector while the pipes are from Cybertron/ROTF Clocker and Swerve. He still transforms (he does partsform though) and the parts are not permanent (with no damage at all to the original figure).

Awesome!, does the pipes and spoiler are part of the vehicle mode?

I actually haven't tried rigging them up in alt mode(s) yet, now that you mention it. My main focus was bot mode since Cloud Rodimus is an integral part of my Lost Light crew display. (I have a Generations Leader Megatron on the way to me and Rodimus won't be happy to hand over the keys to the ship. :D )

    Thanks, glad you like!

Awesome, got a clocker without the key from a buddy a few years ago and had no use for it. Getting my rod next week, and he is definitely getting the pipes.

    Thanks, I think so too!

Much appreciated! It may be a bit tricky to find ways to get the pipes onto the figure, though (at least, not without taking a Dremel to it and drilling some 5mm holes into his shins and forearms).

In my case, I didn't want to permanently damage the figure in any way so I kitbashed some attachment pieces using parts from a gutted RTS Grapple I have for custom fodder (for the forearm pipes; they slot in via friction) and simply slotted some metal pins into the pipes' 5mm pegs and tucked them into the wheel wheels (for the shin pipes; again, via friction). The FP Protector fins/wings are likewise held via friction using his double-barrel gun pegged onto his back (the cannon makes a handy storage area for his rotorblade sword too).

Much appreciated! The Springer mold really does fit IDW Rodimus' design very well even with a simple color palette swap. All it was really missing were his signature exhaust pipes (the fins/wing spoiler I did just for the hell of it) to complete the look of the character.

    Obrigado!

I updated Cloud Hot Rodimus a little with the gold chrome wings from FansProject TFX-05 Sidearm (along with the pipes on the forearms/shins).

Shiny! I think the gold chrome works better with the Springer mold and Cloud colors rather than the standard FP Protector matte orange wings.
