This started the same as just about every other custom I come up with, by finding a _________ at the Goodwill. In this case that blank was a Laserbeak whose only fault was slightly loose leg joints. I decided spur-of-the-moment to try to get it a little more movie-accurate, although I broke down and left the wings red once I got into the painting, because I actually liked that part of the toy over the onscreen coloration. I'm sure that this has been done over and over by now, and probably by a lot of better painters than me, but this still came out good enough that I wanted to share. I just alternated between black and silvers to darken the figure while also giving it a slight sheen.
