Chromedome from RID 2015 Bumblebee, moved the head up, cut a huge chunk of the chest out, and a full repaint. Working on some heels for him that double as a vehicle mode front bumper. Also need to order a second gun, enjoy.












Edit: forgot to mention I have to remove the top half of the chest to accommodate vehicle mode, I have a few ideas to remedy this, but a little antsy about executing any of them. Vehicle mode pics tomorrow or after if anyone is interested.

 

What's the head situation? Post, hole? How difficult is a head swap on this mold?

Beautiful finish. So smooth.

 

The head is on a ball joint, but there isn't a lot of room to work with, I had to raise the entire neck up a few millimeters so the headmaster could fit in robot mode.

this custom makes me wish they'd do a Generations version as chromedome, minor retooling to fold away more kibble and add a few joints.

I'd like that too, though I should point out that articulation really isn't that much less than what we get in generations, really all he'd need are wrist swivels and heels.

yeah, a wrist joint and a foot joint would be what I'd hope for, aside from a more compact way of folding up the leg kibble, just, one more joint to streamline it.
