Now THAT is a proper Nosecone. Looks very promising! I don't understand why neither of the 3rd-party Computrons out there went with a vehicle design like this, instead of the treaded bars of soap with drills stuck on that they did.
Thank you sir! Honestly right now Nosecone looks like a jumbled up mess to me lol. Maybe it's because he's not painted yet. Out of the Technobots so far Nosecone has been the toughest to make.
Thanks bro! The drill bit is a lego part I got from ebay. They are easy to get and cost from $3 to $5 bucks.
Ohhhhhhh, I like! What's he made of? How does he transform? Don't make us wait til he's painted!! (I'm excited, if you can't tell!)
I can tell you like lol. I'll snap a bot pic for you. He's made from many different parts. Energon Barricade, Energon Tow Line, Energon Drop Shot, G1 Twin Twist, Lego drill bit. A real complicated pain in the ass to make lol.
Brilliant; can't wait to see it. I've been starting work on an Afterburner custom. It's coming along nicely; I"ll start posting some pics in a few days...
Cool! I'll post up a couple pics and a transformation video here in a few. I didn't think Nosecone would be so popular lol. Plus besides paint he's not quite finished being built yet.
Here is a pics of Nosecone in bot mode. Also here is a link to a video of how he transforms. Feel free to leave a comment on my YouTube channel. Enjoy! Technobot: Nosecone - YouTube
Alpha it's incredible how much work and detail goes into the individual bots before you do the full combiner. Always impressive. Can't wait to see this painted. I was wondering, once the gestalt is done, can they separate? Or is it individual bots, then forever combined?
Thanks bro for your comments. They will be able to separate. All my combiners have that ability. To me a combiner isn't a combiner unless the gestault can separate and become the individual parts that combine it in the first place. That's my opinion anyway.
Wow; really great stuff there. Love the transformation (I may use it as an inspiration, as I've been wanting to make my own Nosecone for awhile now...). Can't wait to see him done and painted! If you have a chance, post similar details on all your Technobots as you work on them; it's great to see!
Also, I completely share your approach to TF customs. I've also got a shortlist of my favourite TFs that I always wanted to have updated versions of from when I was a kid. Unfortunately, I rarely ever manage to do EXACTLY what I would have wanted; either the scale is off, or certain details of proportion, transformaton, bot mode and alt mode just aren't quite right... I think that's why I've got half a dozen Brawl customs, and almost the same amount of DeadEnds!
Thanks bro. Yeah I think I can make videos of Strafe and Afterburner. Afterburner is finished but Strafe is not. Good luck with you Nosecone build.
