PD-04 Leader class Jetfire cover plates

I've had a couple people ask for an inexpensive set of covers for the leader class Jetfire...

    So here you go...

These covers were designed to fill the majority of the empty spots that were the biggest eye-sores.

The kits are separated in left side / right side as these are small parts and keeps them organized to avoid confusion. Also includes instruction sheet for assembly.

These covers are 3D printed. As with all 3D printed parts, there are small amounts of deviation in the printed layers of surfaces. This is unavoidable and the nature of 3D prints. So it is to be expected the surfaces will have small deviation.

Installation is straight forward. Insert the appropriate cover in the correct location on the instruction sheet. All parts are designed w/ friction joints / tabs which should hold them in place, but as all figures are a tiny bit different, it may take a little tweaking / trimming for perfect fitment. It is recommended to put a tiny dot of superglue on the tabs to make them permanently installed as there is no reason to remove them once in place... but this is entirely up to you as they stay in place fine without glue and is not necessary. I personally use gel superglue and highly recommend picking some up as it is very easy to work with and control the amount you use.

Here's a quick installation video I put together for the covers.

Nice set and nice work, jream. I will be placing my order soon. How about making a plug for the top of Unique Toys Troll's head in beast mode.

These look nice. Love the way you continued the panel lines on the thigh panels.

sorry my man, i don't have that figure so have nothing to design to...

thx! it was what i was shooting for when i made the design models... wanted something that continued the look of the existing leg and wouldn't stand out or look out of place.

Just ordered, the hollowness doesn't bother me terribly but your fillers look the best I've seen with the panel lines scribed and the price couldn't be beat.

Does this come with a gun mount. I prefer your plain leg fillers versus the other kit.

Thx! Been getting that a lot via pm! ;)  yes international shipping is an additional $6.50

    Thanks my man!

I might depending on if enough people are interested.

I've also had a bunch of questions via p.m. so I figured I'd address them all here. Apparently people are making claims that this is a copy of their design which clearly it is not. Nothing about my design looks like anything anyone else has done, so to say I am copying people is silly! Again none of this is rocket science and there are only a few options available to fix these gaps on this figure. Ask 10 people to figure out something to fix this figure and all 10 of them are going to come up with the same thing!

Secondly these do not require glue to stay in place. They are held in by friction. I suggested using super glue to make them a permanent attachment as that is what I do with my figures and my custom work but is not necessary.

Lastly, and most importantly… Will all tabs break.?????.. Ohhhhhhhhh so scary!!!

So let's give these little bitches a stress test shall we???
First go to your cabinet and find three willing participants and some 40 pound leader from your fishing tackle box.

Next string those bad boys up tall and proud

Next Grab one of your cheap flimsy crappy ko covers that will break the first time you use it and hook it on

Now take that beer can wind chime out back for your wife to see when she comes home and asks WTF are you doing??? As you try to avoid spitting beer all over her laughing out loud!

    Stress test passed! :rock

In all seriousness any plastic can break if you force it hard enough, I don't care how you design it or whatever. But as you can see they are not going to fall apart in your hands. No reason for these to break as everything installs fairly smoothly and doesn't require any major force or twisting or anything of that nature!

    Other questions ask away! Thanks

lol. looks like there's a 4th party war going on.

but anyways, i'll submit my order later tonight for your set as I like the look of the plain leg fillers better.

yea, sorry i didn't put this post here. it was moved. my posts have typically been in the 3rd party section as that's what my company produces (3P accessories) but i'm with you that this post doesn't belong here. but apparently the people in charge are making decisions about being able to post new products in the 3rd party section depending on how accessories are manufactured or sold.
