Took a little while, but finally got this guy wrapped up. LOVE this figure, FansToys really knocked it out of the park with this guy, if I didn't know better I'd think it was a Takara figure.

Lots of pre-shading, Alclad, and edgewear, painted with HoK and Testors paints.

Thanks Juan! I was very impressed with this figure, unbelievable how well constructed it is next to Grimlock.

That right there makes my expensive figure look like a cheap knock off compared to this. Awesome paint skills there.

Beautiful piece, man. The plastic easy enough to prep?

That looks about as clean (yet worn) as one could get it. Outstanding work man. Separating the Dino crest was a real pita for me but got it.

Thanks Sean, actually wasn't that bad at all, just stripping the chrome with SuperClean was the only thing that took time. This thing has almost no rub spots, very few to be concerned with.

Thanks Zac, yeah that was the toughest part, next to figuring out how to disassemble the torso, took me 20 minutes to figure out the order. I really enjoyed this guy, reminded me of working on Grimlock.

Yeah the torso was tough. Thank god those red clip on pieces popped off so easy though.
