Hey everyone! Recently, I tried to remake G1 Boxes from scratch (I used pictures and my figures as references) and I'm finally done! The Blitzwing box was my first ever prototype box and hence his colouring seems a bit off (because of the wrong paper). I'll love to here what you guys have to say! Any feedback or comment will be appreciated :)  Ps. I was thinking of making and selling these boxes but I'm not really sure if I should

The sides seems to be peeling off... Err I mean there's nothing to see here :D

Why does the backing seem to be coming off? (Ps I had not enough tape at that point in time:cry )

I could here my printer cry as he used up his ink

Yup, my Blitzwing box was not the best of prototypes. Then again so is my Bombshell...

    Thanks for looking! :)

good try :)  but you need to get better logos and make the sunbursts blend better.

st4rwaytoheaven knows what he's talking about...I bought a repro G1 Jetfire box from him a while back, and it is frigging outstanding...

I don't see the harm in having boxes that aren't exactly G1...you know, a little artistic twist to them...

I am still kicking around the idea of commissioning a "Takara Bookstyle" box for my G1 Jetfire...I'm surprised nobody has done something like that yet considering that Jetfire has 2 separate foam trays and all that.

Keep up the good work though! These all look very promising...you're almost there with a couple of tweaks.

I think it's pretty impressive! There's repro labels and bubbleformers for G1 but so far I haven't found anybody who specializes boxes. I'd definitely buy repro boxes for my G1 figures.

Thanks man! Esp if its coming from the expert :D  Haha even until now I still can't perfect the sunburst. Oh and which logo(s) are you talking about?

Thanks! I tried doing one G1 Jetfire box for my friend, and it was so hard to replicate it. Hopefully my next box will be way better

Oh by any chance do you know if bubbleformers still produce inserts? I'll love to purchase some for my customs hehe

I haven't bought anything from them since late 2010 but I did check out their site the other day. They're still in business and even offer some new additions.

A good way to make boxes. Is to scan some old ones. Than slowly reproduce them in photoshop. This will help you get the dimensions for the boxes. Cause I have to found a site that tells you the sizes. So far there looking alright. Got to play around with PS better color for the box art.

Do you have a link to the site that has the dimensions for the boxes?
