Many respects to Sculpt-bot for the inspiration of his own Motormaster mod. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/382086-classic-stunticon-motormaster.html?highlight=motormaster But I wanted to see what I could do with my Protectobot Hot Spot. I always loved the detail of Motormaster's feet being the cab of the truck. So I had a couple G1 Inferno's cabs lying around and thought that they would make great Motormaster feet. So I cut them in half, screwed them in place and filled the void above Hot Spot's toes with baking Scuply. Scratchbuilt the head (definitely not the greatest and will get redone) using a faceplate from a KO bot and some other parts lying around. The chestplate is made from the 2 black panels I removed from Hot Spot's doors cut and trimmed to fit. Alt mode still WIP. Will Probably do the G1 Prime Trailer though. comments welcome. All painted in Satin colors - looks a lot less shiny in person. https://home.comcast.net/~makoaspire/motormaster1.jpg https://home.comcast.net/~makoaspire/motormaster2.jpg https://home.comcast.net/~makoaspire/motormaster3.jpg https://home.comcast.net/~makoaspire/motormaster4.jpg https://home.comcast.net/~makoaspire/motormaster5.jpg https://home.comcast.net/~makoaspire/motormaster6.jpg https://home.comcast.net/~makoaspire/motormaster7.jpg https://home.comcast.net/~makoaspire/motormaster8.jpg https://home.comcast.net/~makoaspire/motormaster9.jpg https://home.comcast.net/~makoaspire/motormaster10.jpg https://home.comcast.net/~makoaspire/motormaster11.jpg
You know you might be on to something... I like what is presented here, it gives me an idea, that no-one (I believe) has tried yet.
0verclockr makes me nostalgic, feels like the original MM, colors pop real nice and clean but epic fail on alt mode; perhaps a collapsable shell sheild/ hE can pass for a badass boxtruck for-Reals!
