    So I did this.

I really like the Generations Brainstorm head, but much prefer the scale and engineering of the FP Smart Robin...whose head I can't stand.

Took a dremel to make Arcana the 5mm by 5mm cube it needed to be. Lost his face, And I also did take out the pin keeping his lower legs in, just to get clearance to turn his head (which was too long in the first place). I'm an IDW style guy so I never use that gimmick anyway. You wouldn't necessarily have to do all this, if you like headmasters.

Anyway, quick and dirty. Let me know if you have any comments or questions.

Such a simple fix for something so ugly. Hated his default face so much I skipped buying him. Now I want a smart robin just to do this too.

Looks like it should have always been this way. Good work!

I got a 3-d printer printed faceplate accessory for Smart Robin from MegaMoonMan here on the boards, was tempted to just glue it on permanently. But now that I've got the Hasbro Brainstorm, I'm glad i didn't because now I put the FP figure in with my classics Japanese figures like Generations Black Shadow, Artfire and Stepper and Botcon Deathsaurus, Leozack and Overlord.

Still, it's good you made your figure the way you like! The Hasbro head goes great with Smart Robin!

This looks damn good to me. In fact it tempts me to do buy these guys just to do the same.

How does alt mode work? I assume you still have to take off the head?

Yeah, sadly. It fits in his chest but aside from preventing it getting lost there's not much to it. Brainstorm is like the world's most badass wheelchair for my newly amputated Arcana.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. They really both are great toys. Glad we have the breadth of choice. Now I'm going to go turn the Hasbro body into Pharma, as has been seen here with great effect.

What's the point in having a Headmaster if his head can't transform anymore? I rather like Generations Brainstorm and won't waste my money on 3rd party crap.

    This looks pretty nice!

Even though I prefer the generations figure overall, this still looks cool. :)
