The ideas have gone a bit random, eh?  

Funnily enough, I did actually buy a new (well, from 2014) figure before christmas, to use as a possible canvas for doing upgrades. S'that 2014 upscaled Beast Hunters Prime (the sodding enormous, actually-leader-sized-if-ye-look-at-it one). I have a few potential ideas over what could be done with him (none of which would be any of the characters I've designed kits for, for SND, so no Prime kits for that figure), but it's a case of figuring out which'd work best and finding time to actually do anything with it (since designing production kits is so, so much more involved than designing stuff for Shapeways).

So we'll see what happens. Hell, I'll see what happens, 'cos I have no clue yet.

I can't recall, but did anyone already suggest a Combiner Wars Soundwave add on? You pretty much can turn Optimus into Soundwave if you look how Soundwave is in the comics.

 

Maybe you can make a simple G1 gun for TR Soundwave?

As I said, alas, I'm not doing any other products based on characters I've done kits for, for SND. And since the kits for SND include Optimus and Ginrai, that won't be happening, I'm afraid.

It can be done, yes, but you'd need an unbelievably indepth and all-encompassing kit to turn Prime into Soundwave, to the point where it'd probably be cheaper to design a new figure (certainly if I was doing it through Shapeways; a kit that involved would be well into 3 figures).

Having said that, Soundwave is one of the names on my list of characters I'd like to do something with, so we shall see what happens in future.

Heh, aye, that's one of mine, from waaaaaay back before I started working with SND on the kits. Still shocks me how much the project's evolved since then!
