Alongside Superion I'm having a crack at Menasor too. I was going to do Dragstrip first but his extra wheels not being here yet have put him on the backburner so up first is Breakdown. Only one WIP picture at the moment but I'm currently thinking of a way to make his lower legs smaller and converting the hood into something Countach looking which will also bring him to roughly MP car height instead of being quite a bit bigger:



My only concern is the placing of the foot peg and I'm assuming Wildrider will be the same size and need a similar mod with a Ferrari 308GT hood. Watch this space and enjoy the ride  

 

You could use a junker/ko mp lambro hood.

Wow, this'll be epic when it's done. What would you use for Motormaster?
On a related note; is this the oversized KO, I'm guessing? How is he quality wise? Is the transformation the same?

 

Cheers guys. Yeah this is the oversized KO. Motormaster I'm waiting to see if they KO Diesel before deciding anything else. If the legs go as planned for Breakdown then I Dead End and Wildrider maybe moved up a notch before the KO makers do their versions. Especially Dead End as the FP version looks nothing like the G1 figure.

Looking forward to this. I did something similar but less advanced with breakdown and dragstrip. Jumping ahead, any idea what head you'll use for dead end? I also plan to mod a breakdown into dead end since the Fansproject dead end looks nothing like the animation model.

No Windcharger planned, XTB have the MP version covered. Regards Dead End I'm thinking about doing a Breakdown/Dragstrip/reshell hybrid.

I had a crazy thought regards Breakdown at work today but won't get tge time to see if it'll work till Friday. Stay tuned!

Robot mode is pretty much done too. Just need to cut a bit more on the leg slide to make him a tad taller and not so stocky:



Next up he gets his new clothes and he puts them on to a different way than the KO did, very much G1 in that respect......when he's done I'll show off the extra bit, it's not too hard to guess  

 

You really need to think about new heads for these guys, otherwise it looks amaaaaaazing as always!!!

 

I didn't think this (and Dragstrip) looked too bad. Look pretty close to the cartoon. Dead End I'll be giving a mouth plate which will make a big difference. Wildrider will be last and I haven't thought that far ahead lol

Don't get me wrong, its aesthetically fine, the current head just seems a little too big proportionally when compared to sideswipe.

 

Yeah that's a good point. I'll look into it but they won't ever be displayed with the Autobot cars so it's not really top of my priorities. Finding a decent donor could be tricky too.
