Turms out Hasbro is releasing Slingshot after all.

 

Just got my Slingshot head (goggles) in yesterday! This looks awesome. Planning to paint it in the next day or two, depending on weather. Thanks for the amazing 3D work on this, man!

How did you paint those heads, cause I just messed up my jetfire fastpack with spray painting it -_-

 

Fireflight's head is on Fireflight's body. The toy matches his G1 design almost perfectly. Dunno where you see Slingshot.

Which is a shame, because your Slingshot and Blades heads are pretty sweet.

 

The Slingshot and Blades heads work but I don't care for the toy accurate Skydive head. Then again, to each his own.

 

I only have a single question: Are there possible plans for a G1 Menasor head in the future?

 

usually I wash and then either spray or hand paint them. I use primer lightly or otherwise they cover up the details.

If you are using a spray can, I usually warm them up first in a bowl of hot water (60 degrees Celsius) so that the paint droplets are extra fine.

 

I really think Hasbro did an awful job with Menasor (Motormaster is great, but not so with the combiner body). Not certain I am buying it yet...eyeing the 3rd party motormaster that is supposedly compatible with CW limbs...

Yes, although I am pretty much done with wave 1 now and I have not ordered my wave 2 figures yet.

What do you have in mind? I am also pondering what else I can do with the aerialbots. Although, I don't have as much time as I had during the holidays back then.

I can definitely see Barrel Roll from the new air raid...no brainer. And Skyfeather on Air Raid with new wings? The other two may need more thinking. i can't make out the details of air razor's head from the wiki.
