TFW2k5, you guys are the SHIT!! I was super stoked after posting my Nemisis Prime, so I wanted to show you one I just finished, my TF Prime Megatron. I know there has been a ton of talk an Spaz Stix Chrome so I tried it and IT is the Shit!....However, their "Ultimate Finisher for Mirror Chrome" sucks a bag of DX and almost completely ruined this dude, so I would stay away from that shit. However, their other paints and backers are super nice Well, this was my 2nd megatron I have done and I am satisfied with this one, I hope you cats like it too.

Any suggestions on the sword on this guy? Was thinking of painting it metallic purple, but dont think that would capture it. I have never seen a transparent purple, if you guys have seen a company that makes a clear purple, let me know please
Paint work looks great! I love this mold and repaints make it look sooooo much better. I've never seen a clear purple, but I've made one on accident that will work! I have made several transparent colors with Future Floor Polish by taking the "guts" of cheapo permanent markers and soaking it in some Future overnight. I attempted to make some clear blue, but my Dollar General blue marker made a nice clear purple instead. It didn't suit my need so I haven't used it, but I did keep it "just in case". You can give that a go or, I know a lot of people mix food coloring and future to get custom clears. I've never use food coloring myself but have no doubt it works. The good news is, Future is essentially acrylic base and strips very easily with a little Windex (or anything with ammonia) so if you don't like it, it's no sweat to undo it. Ken, thank you so much for the tip bro. That is GOLD. I love the shit I learn from you guys. This group of men is willing to go to any lengths.......to paint a transformer figure....lmfao. And thank you for the compliment on my Megatron. Chrome is a great look for him. I am thinking of selling this one and starting over lol. I really enjoy painting this particular figure. The one above is my second time. And I prefer Dark Energon for repaints, I like the mold, weapons, clear parts, etc. I want to install LED's this time as well like in the optimus pictured here. lol.
