Minor/Repaint: Shattered Glass Ratchet

    Been on a Shattered Glass kick lately, and finally got to finish this one and add him to the ranks. I realized afterwards that I got the paint layout wrong on the vehicle front (colors are opposite according to the comic image) but I decided to leave it as is and with no reference for the legs I just went with what felt right. Headpiece is modified from the original Roadblock head, sanded down quite a bit and scratchbuilt the green piece (can't think of what it's called, haha). It didn't come out quite like I wanted but it works.

    Man, this is good. Not quite perfect but I'd love to have him in my SG collection. He's one I still have to complete.

    Seems like all the ones I've been doing lately have been Autobots (Thunderclash, Longarm, Nightbeat... all TCC Custom Class figures I never got originally) really need to find some Decepticons to even things out.

    The comic image is hard to make out, but yours seems to match the light/dark parts. I think there's an argument made that he's not actually white under green lighting, but actually that pale green medical "scrubs" color, but I dunno... I mean that would make him like 95% variations of green with just a bit of red, and that's boring. I mean even his windows are green.
    ... and reading the wiki now, it says he's white, so either that was revised or my memory is faulty. Perhaps it was just someone's personal interpretation which they were passing off as a sure thing.

    Yeah. I need to combine him with my FunPub Slicer figure. I really thought we'd get one by now.

    Thanks for all the kind words everyone!

    I was really hoping FunPub would've made one by now too... I just got tired of waiting, hahaha.

    I actually almost painted the entire figure in the green. Then I saw the wiki about him being white with the green accents, so I followed that. In the comic picture though, you can kind of tell that the front grille is a darker color (green?) with white highlights but I made it white with green highlights. I think it works either way :)
