And done... I added some details just for funnsies. I can also make it available without the extra switches, knobs, and panels if you find them distracting..
Thanks for the link! I've been trying to find images from the 80s cartoon, but these will work too... Thanks! I bet you could improve on these designs, though...I'm trying to keep it simple.
So I plan on ordering a test batch of some of the legendary weapons seen above, plus something for the upcoming Combiner Wars Huffer...I'm still not entirely sure how much clearance it will need. (If anyone wants to take a gamble on a beta test version and let me know their opinions on the fit, I can send a link in PM.)
Yep. Click back one page. I just ordered it, so I should be able to see how it printed in about two weeks. If you like to take chances, though, I can give you a link.
Oh, not sure how I missed that. I await what else you have planned and will probably order a bunch at once when they're all done. Looking good so far!
I'm still a self-taught Sketchup man for now. Every couple of months I tinker with Blender, but I still haven't had my breakthrough moment with it, yet. Thanks! Feel free to make requests. I have a bunch of G1 weapons for kreons that I can easily upscale for Legends (or bigger...although I'd probably want to add some details).
I draw two perpendicular circles and have the one follow the other (I just have to remember to increase the number of sides on the circles to get a better resolution). I find the worst part of the process is intersecting round surfaces with other objects on a very small scale. I typically blow the object up 100x, take care of the intersections, and then reduce it to its original size.
