Video Review in HD Here This came to me as a YOTH Optimus Prime and my customer just wanted a more G1 reminiscent looking Prime. Lots and LOTS of sanding, refinishing, thin layers of paint, refinishing some more and clear coating. Various paints were used on this figure but mainly Model Master enamels. Looks great man, nice job. I appreciate seeing such an excellent job done, knowing all the effort that's put into the finish work, .......sanding, prep work, and painting. It's a lot to do. I love the look of the silver on the wheel wells, and I love the red/silver in the tips of the feet.
Coolest thing ever. But no pictures in truck mode? Purdy please some truck mode pictures!!!! Best Regards,
He looks fantastic, as much as I love chrome on this mold I thought you did a great job on silver, the whole figure is well painted/detailed. Congratz!
Beautiful piece, Zac. And dang it of your panel lining isn't some of the best there is. Woah! Look at those pics closer up people.
Thats such a clean, and nice, realistic looking paint job. I would highly suggest some sort of scale background for him to stand by. Find some kind of model building or someshit and make it look like a TF diorama. Fantastic paint job. This is one of those looks that just needs other shit around it. I picture that standing next to a gas station with a desert background. Photoshop it in dude. That would look sick.
Everyone, thank you for your feedback!! Thanks for noticing man. The work this figure took is comparative to building a custom Devastator. The sanding, cutting and the refining this figure took is unbelievable. Wow man, haven't seen you in a long time. Where you been? No trailer with this one Justin, it's a YOTH OP and customer didn't send one...thank God, lol. Thanks man, it's a tedious job to do but pays off in the end for sure. I wish I had something but I don't and I'm not that savvy with Photoshop yet to make it look good. Thanks though!
Work, occasional commission, & prepping for my new daughter (born 11/27). Still working on customs, just haven't shared a lot lately. Hope all is well, man!
That looks absolutely incredible!!! Love the chest area for the matrix... now I understand there must be a painstaking # of hours put into that, but out of curiousity what would one charge for something like that???
This is really great, love the black bits on Prime, kinda gives me a G2 feel. My only crit is maybe applying a wash to the smoke stacks. They look flat compared to the nice detailing found everywhere else. Great work!
