Heavy/Scratch: Decepticon BLACKOUT (GI Joe Crossover)

    COBRA forces have infiltrated a secret mine filled with energon in the Australian outback... But they're not the only ones aware of this "secret".

    A lone GI Joe chopper bearing strange markings has tagged along stealthily... "Arise Decepticon BLACKOUT and purge the fleshly filth from my sight!" commands the mighty MEGATRON!

    This was a custom I did much earlier and posted on HISStank (unfortunately I've been very overwhelmed with other family commitments to pursue more customs now).

    Just thought I'd share this one with you guys as I'm fairly new here :) 

    Hope you'll appreciate my interpretation of BLACKOUT made from my 2 favorite toylines... Transformers and GI Joe.

    How did you do this?!?!?! I've seen some great GI I Joe/transformers crossovers before but this is mind blowing how you engendered it! Looks perfect!

    You should seriously consider selling this idea (design, blueprints, prototype) to Hasbro.

    Being able to store figures in a redecoed vehicles is one thing, but having them stored in robot mode is AWESOME.

    Thanks. I built this to display with my GI Joe/COBRA troops so it had to be Joe scale and I just had to squeeze some Joes in the bot :D 

    Thank you! The Hasbro Scorponok can actually hide in his backpack as I wanted it to fit that in as well... gets a bit cumbersome tho!

    Thanks guys... BLACKOUT's been exposed to Nucleon energy and as you know, that robs some bots of their transforming ability ;) 

    But seriously speaking, this was initially designed to transform (with some parts-forming) but mid way through the works, with his bulk and all, that plan was scrapped and I've fused his bits permanently for stability... he's a GI Joe crossover bot designed for display with Joes primarily first :)

    Blackout was the only character from the movie franchise that I loved and this custom totally does him justice!!!!!

    I love this. Great job
