Sorry I haven't purchased my upgrades yet! The USD/CAD exchange is terrible right now and I can't justify spending that much at the moment. I've been keeping an eye out for coupon codes, but no luck so far.

Heh, no rush! Let's be honest, things other than toys have to come first; they're sort of a bit more important! :)

Toys always come first, as long as I have that box by the dumpster to call home, and 3000 Optimus primes I'm good :p

Just thought of some ways to make Punch/Counterpuch work without needing to have a tiny face(ish). basically, we have both faces on a Windcharger sized sized head.

Then, follow pat 1 or 2
1: we take a windcharger sized helmet with a flat on the outside, curved on the inside plate, and rotate that helmet it to switch the faces!
2: same thing as before, but helmet only covers the eyes! since Counterpuch has a faceplate on both his faces, we can pass either of them off as the back of his head. And since his eyes are visors in both modes, they can be rounded without compromising his look, and the helmet can be closer to the face and improve proportions of the head.

That's not a bad idea at all, that, but alas, the Prime/Motormaster add-ons I'm in the middle of aren't leaving a lot of time for anything else at the minute.

I'll have a look at this idea when Prime's all finished. :)

Regarding Punch/Counterpunch... You can check Calloway's head sculpt, which IIRC, was a larger head designed to still fit the Sun/Swipe mold. PCP head kit by CALLOWAY75 on Shapeways

Like the Timelines version, a portion of the helmet is rotated to hide one face, and show the other.

Well, after eying my Generations Bee, I'm thinking of converting him to WIndcharger, with your upgrades... BUT what I'm wondering is if there's a way to completely replace the stock chest with your upgrade kit. I think it's doable :p

Waiting for the mail to arrive this morning has me going through this thread again...the waist piece (and pose) really are great, it really brings out a androgynous nature in the mold. These pieces don't get enough praise.

Completely agree, such an awesome kit, I have seven variations currently, about to be nine ( once I get Go Shooter's kit, and also complete the mystery character) but that won't be until after I've finished MP Seaspray.

Gah, sorry, I meant to reply to this when you first posted it, and I completely forgot!

Aye, I've seen Calloway's piece, and it's very, very impressive indeed. I reckon it'd be very possible to do, I just need to find a slot in my schedule to fit it in (if I go ahead with it). I can't really commit to it more than that at the moment, alas.

I've not tried it, but I imagine it's possible if you cut the clips off the top, sand things down to fit, and then glue the chest in place (I know that's been done with one of the Nightbeat chests, but the Windcharger chest is a bit deeper, so there might not be enough room under the alt mode for it to fit.

Or at least, not without putting bouncy lowrider wheels on him. :p

I always thought tall and lanky works for Nightbeat, what with him basically being Sherlock Holmes (yet another reason why his headsculpt is so flawless: it's got that hawk-like nose that Conan Doyle that strikes me as being particularly Holmesian).

You're still funding my Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus. :p

Hey, mate (that's how y'all greet each other over there, right? Mate?)

The new chest club appears to be a semi-dead project at this point, but I don't suppose there's room for one more?

Another Shapeways user has bashed out a lovely Boss head for the Bumblebeat mold, and an appropriate chestplate would seal the deal. Sooooo, er... please? Pretty please? :D

Does anyone know what's with johnbonhamatron? I've been messaging him, but he doesn't seem to have been online since November.
