When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."
Very nice , they made figures of these at some point but they definitely need to make new ones, yours is great.
Clearly you see things that other men can't see and know things other men don't know. Bravo! Is the shirt all done freehand? And you say you sculpted that gun? Amazing. I'm amazed. Just wonderful.
Put him with Leader Class Movie Optimus Prime and you have a winning picture. He looks just about perfect.
Thank you very much you guys! Yes, I did the shirt freehand with a fine tipped black marker, some paint, and a touch of color pencil thrown in. The gun was interesting, since like I said this was learn as I go, but the gun and knife are a combo of styrene and epoxie sculpt. ....Just realized I never took a pic of the shirt full on from the front. ....oh well. I'm scared to upload any more pics from photobucket, since my PC crashed after starting this thread a couple days ago! *YIKES*!!!!!
I think that maybe the first Kurt Russel action figure ever, and you have done old Jack supreme justice. Great work
Escape from New York, LA and Stargate figures that I know of. Google even led me to another custom Jack Burton. And Death-proof and The Thing figures... But yes, he really shook the pillars of heaven with this one.
